The Neue Thüringer Hütte was built in 1971 and is a generally accessible, managed Alpine Club hut (Cat. I). In a fantastic location above the Habachtal valley in the Hohe Tauern Nature Park, it is just as suitable for hikers as it is for mountaineers and alpine climbers. Up here at 2,240 m you can forget your everyday worries, find peace and quiet and enjoy the animal and mountain world. Relax on our sun terrace with a view of the Habachkees glacier, enjoy good food in our cozy, bright parlor and dream of your next tour in one of our multi-bed rooms or in the cozy mattress dormitory. Please note: Reservations can be made at the latest until 18.00 clock the day before arrival!
