The Lienzer Hut in the Debant Valley, one of the most beautiful mountain huts located amidst the three-thousand-meter peaks of the Schober Group, is both a destination and starting point for hikers, mountain bikers, and families with children. The impressive hike from the Seichenbrunn parking lot takes about 1.5 hours via a marked nature trail. The natural experience leads through lush alpine meadows, passing by mountain huts, surrounded by stone pines, and accompanied by the wild, rushing Debantbach river. A lovingly designed playground awaits little mountaineers. With a mountain bike, one can travel about 20 kilometers and 1,300 meters of elevation gain from Lienz to the Lienzer Hut.
