Mt. Shasta is an amazing, uncrowded, undiscovered alternative to Tahoe, especially for families with young kids.

The house is ~3,000 sq ft on 2.5 acres, 4 BR + 2 bath. We renovated the interior in 2017.

Sauna, porch, grill, garage space for skis, fire table, open floor plan, water feature in back yard.

Each family has a dedicated room to leave their stuff + access to the whole house/grounds/garage space.

House is ~4 hours from SF, about 5 min drive from the highway exit/ gas/ grocery store.

The house is about 20 min to Shasta ski resort, nordic skiing, several lakes, restaurants, the kids’ museum, and endless back-country access. The backcountry access is unparalleled and uncrowded.

$4,200 for the season. Or $600/mo for the upstairs bedroom (~10 x 12 ft) or $700/mo for the downstairs bedroom with its own entrance (~17 x 22 ft) + split utilities.
